Cool birds in Australia...My favorite comment by Jonny when we get home to the airport is when we saw a little brown bird and he said, "Aren't our birds so dumb here in America?" I would have to agree...the birds are definitely not as cool here in America.

Some things I learned from this country:1. When somebody asks you if you are on "holiday" that it means "vacation." I had a lady on the beach ask me if we were on "holiday" and I said, "no...we are just here on vacation." She looked at me like, "umm...dumb american girl." haha.
2. Don't say "fanny pack"---it is a bad word over there. Weird.
3. Don't be the girl who cries "shark" until you find out they really aren't sharks and are dolphins instead.
4. If a sign says "dangerous waves" in Australia it means the same thing it would in America, "Dangerous Waves"
5. Americans drive on the right side of the road but Australians drive on the "proper" side of the road.
We can't wait to go back to Australia some day soon! It is beautiful and feels like home there. :)
