Pregnant...oh the joy..

The definition of being pregnant for me is...

When I spit out my toothpaste lastnight and none of it ended in the sink but all over my belly.

When I bent over the other day and Georgia pointed to my chest and said "bum bum".

When I get teary eyed watching the Food Network.

When I wake up at midnight and a snowcone is the only thing that will quench my thirst. Thank goodness for my snowcone maker.

When I'm sweating bullets just putting Georgia in the carseat.

When I'm trying to get into my car and I can't because the car next to me is too close.

When I can't remember my current ziocode or the plot of the book I read last month.

When I almost grabbed a handful of popcorn from somebody walking by me at Target like it would be totally normal.

Let's just say I really feel so blessed to be pregnant and think it is such a miracle and blessing. We can't wait for this baby girl to come! But I am so done being pregnant.  Not ready for the baby but ready to get rid of this belly!  Especially with a hyperactive toddler!

Some pictures from my phone--didn't get all of our summer pics from our other electronics yet so these pictures don't document everything.  We got to see all of our cousins this summer and I wish we could have documented that a little better but guess you could say we were living in the moment and not worrying about getting pics!  And I loved hanging out with my sis and sister in laws and both grandparents! We had so much fun in Utah this summer!!

Top 10 favorite things this summer:
1. Bear Lake/Idaho
2. Georgia playing with her cousins and seeing most of our family and most of our friends
3. Fireworks and the 4th of July
4. Swim Lessons
5. Softball games for Nick (when he got to sub)
6. Snowcones, snowcones, and more snowcones!
7. Seeing "The Host" at the dollar theater with Nick!  Best worst movie ever!!
8. Being on a ferris wheel in a lightning storm with Nick.
9. When Nick found/took/borrowed the neighbor's backyard pool on the 4th.
10. Having my mom wake up with Georgia in the morning for some extra sleep!
11. And of course Cherry Hill with the Harts family!  Best birthday tradition! Sugar daisy cupcakes..ummm..yes please!!
This picture is classic to me--Georgia is like "Cooper... stop taking my food" haha

My sis and bro-in-law came to visit and it was so fun to have visitors!

Uncle Mike got her obsessed with saying "Go Utes!"  Now the only outfit she wants to wear is her Utes PJ shirt!

June and Georgia reunited at last

Should prob document this pregnancy.  This is my belly at 35 weeks.  The amazing Courtney Schramm took these photos and will be our new family photographer! She is so great!

Just one thing we will miss about Utah--Creamies!! Why do they only sell them locally there?  They are so delish-obviously!

Georgia playing with her cousins--the dollhouse that Nick worked on this summer---it's almost done!

Georgia jumping to Nick at swim lessons in Farmington!

The sidewalk chalk Georgia and real Georgia

Sitting by Kyle and Carter at the Idaho House--They are "sooo funny" and she wants to do everything they do.

Thanks to Bethany this summer for my method of transportation around town.  I had the bike trailer attached and it was awesome.  Georgia loved it and I got my exercise and it was much better than getting her in an out of the carseat.
Oh and funny story about the bike with bike trailer.  We went to visit Nick at work since it is only about a mile away from my mom's house.  Well I was wearing a skirt riding my bike and on our way home my skirt got stuck in the spokes and I couldn't get unstuck.  We came to a complete standstill.  It was so hot outside and my phone was in the bike trailer in the very back so I couldn't call anybody for help.  I thought I was going to have to take off my dress to get home but thankfully I slowly rolled the bike backwards with the spokes and had to rip my dress a little bit.  But I got out!  Phew!  It could have been really embarrassing!

Feeding goats at the farm.  According to Georgia the goat says "Ahh-choo"  She petted the goat and it sneezed and she said "Bless you Goat"

Got to see my cute grandparents!

Love these two and love Bear Lake especially at Georgia's age!

To the lady at the grocery store...

So if you were to ever run into me at the store or...my goodness by myself...with Georgia you would think I was ridiculous! We do the silliest most ridiculous things. And I talk to her all the time. The reason we talk to her as much as possible is because her speech therapist freaked me out that if I wasn't talking to her constantly that she would be delayed in her speech. She wanted me to read 10 books a day to her starting at 3 months old.

Anyway...when Georgia was about 4 months old I was at the grocery store and talking to Georgia about everything we were putting into the cart and this lady approached me and told me I could stop talking to my baby because she doesn't understand me anyway. Well..i wanted to punch her in the face ( well not really but kind of ha ha ). I just politely said "okay thanks." If I could only see that lady now and show her that Georgia was understanding me and all that talking helped her. Not only has she memorized most of her books but she is doing so well with speech and language. I am so proud of her and know this won't be a disadvantage for her. I don't say this to brag but to celebrate it because so many people tell me "how sad" it is that Georgia has hearing loss. And I just say ," no it's not sad! It's not sad at all. She is just like any other kid."

I also realized why I am so tired all the time. It's not because I'm having a baby in a couple months. It's because Georgia runs everywhere she goes. I seriously don't think I have ever seen her walk. At least I always know where she is in the house. Thump thump thump all day long.

She has been starting to sing songs. She can sing the ABC song all by herself and I Am a Child of God with a little help. And I Love to see the Temple. We had a picnic in front of the Bountiful temple the other day and Gigi was obsessed with the temple. So great to be back with the hubbs again! I sure missed him. He is too handsome to be away from for too long.

Hey "Niiiiick"

So apparently Georgia has caught onto when I call for Nick upstairs.  Like, "Niiick--dinner is ready" or "Niiiick--can you bring my cell phone downstairs?"  This morning...we were eating breakfast and Georgia looked toward the stairs and goes, "Niiiick!"  It was seriously hilarious.  And she keeps doing it today and will occasionally add a "Hey" Niiick?"  haha.  That girl seriously sincerely cracks me up all the time.  She is going to have so much fun playing with her little sister on the way!

Yes...we are having another girl and we are really excited!! So glad to use up those girl clothes again and have Georgia have a sister so close.  They will be 21 months apart and I am kind of freaking out because that is really close in age but I know it will be fine and will be so fun as they start getting older.  I noticed that this baby girl is wild in the womb.  She is like, "Get me outta here!"  And I am convinced Georgia thinks her name is Lou Lou.  :) We are excited and I can't believe how fast this pregnancy has gone by!  I am already almost 24 weeks along!! How did that happen??

Nick is finishing up his second to last semester and is doing so great in school.  I am so proud of him and his hard work which is totally paying off.  There were months where we never saw him but I know it will all be worth it. :) He is such a hard worker I am so lucky!

A couple other things about the Georgia girl:
  • The other day in speech therapy we realized Georgia can count to TEN.  What the?  It was amazing!
  • Whenever she's poopy she comes up to me and says "poopy diaper".

Bob and Carol came to visit and it was so fun!  We went to Charleston and had so much fun!  Kind of a bummer it was so cold but it was still really fun!  We did take a carriage tour with Georgia and Georgia loved the "horsie".

There was this amazing seafood restaurant right on the boat dock and it was so yummy and family friendly! I loved the atmosphere and thought it was so memorable!

Isle of Palms Beach

At Middleton Plantation--Pure JOY!

Joe and Jill took us uptown to the top of the Duke Energy Building.  It was fun to see Charlotte from this view and we love being friends with them.

Miss Quinn and Georgia bunny ears!! These two rascals are up to trouble when they are together!

Audrey, Georgia, and June at church in their matching skirts.  :) We all happen to have these skirts so it was fun to see them all in it at the same time. They have fun in nursery together these three!

I wish she would be a messier finger painter but she is too clean. She can't stand when her hands are "messy"

Audrey and Georgia playdate
These two--you have to watch out for Cooper!  He goes straight in for a kiss on the lips! :)

Little Gigi Pie got tubes in her ears.  It was such a simple procedure (like 10 minutes) but she still had to be under anaesthesia and when they took her away I was surprised at my reaction because I just started bawling and was crying in the waiting room until she was done.  She was hysterical and sad after the anaesthesia wore off for an hour but then she was fine and running around at the park a couple hours later.  Now we don't have to worry about fluid in her ears anymore! (hopefully)

Georgia and the June Bug playing all day.

We get the pleasure of having June Bug have sleepovers at our house quite a bit.  Georgia calls our pack n' play "Boons Bed" (aka June's bed).  Which is true--because June is the only one that uses it lately.  I love it and these two together just make me laugh.

Georgia's new friend Miles.

At Cypress Gardens and headed into the water with ALLIGATORS!

Yes these were outside and INSIDE the water!

Grandpa Bob getting attacked!

Nick getting attacked!

Easter egg hunt with friends in Ballantyne

I'm obsessed and I don't care who knows it!
