Summa Time Aint no Bummer

I can't believe we are almost ready to head back to North Carolina.  We have had so much fun in Utah this summer being with family and seeing friends.
This swinging video seems to be a pretty good summary of what our summer has been like...laid back, relaxing, and saying "this is the life"...just enjoying being with each other!

It almost feels like we never moved it is so weird!  I am really looking forward to going back to NC though and getting back into our routine there and our own place again.  Living out of a suitcase from house to house is not the ideal situation but knowing it is temporary has made it do-able.  I have loved staying at my mom's house and Nick's parents house...we have been spoiled with seeing family!  It is so great to see family all the time and Georgia LOVES her cousins...oh my goodness.  Every time she sees her cousins she screams.  She will seriously miss them all so much.  I can't believe how excited she gets to see them!  It makes me remember how important family is and am grateful it is forever!

These were three great babysitters!

Maxwell is a few months younger than Georgia but they weigh the same! haha.
aww--the Bun Basket how I've missed you!
She has so many friends too and she misses her baby friends in NC though too and can't wait to see them soon.
We have loved seeing our friends in Utah as well.  Life has been so great and we have been so blessed to have this time in Utah and I am sad to think there probably won't be another time like this in our lives where we don't have to just settle down somewhere and figure our lives out just yet.   We are learning so much and all growing so close together over this past year.  Being a mom is the best thing that has ever happened to me and I can't even picture our lives without Georgia.  Who would have thought a tiny little girl could light up your entire world??  Here are some highlights of this summer and some pictures will have to come later. :)

April's Wedding-YAY--April got married.  He is the best guy for her and she is the best girl for him. Now she has 2 darling little boys that just adore her! She looked gorgeous and her wedding turned out amazing.  It was a perfect day!

Swimming- Georgia LOOVES swimming and the water.  I put her in swimming lessons with my friend Natalie and her cute boy Grant.  They have little crushes on each other.  Swimming lessons really is way fun for not only Georgia but for me too.  I think it is good to get her more and more comfortable in the water.

Camping with the Bryners--Usually when Mike and Rickie come to Utah we don't always get quality time with them but we got to spend lots of time with them in Utah.  We went camping by Mirror lake for 2 days.  It was so fun and by the end I was so dirty and gross.  Everything went great but the bathrooms were THE WORST!  I thought I would die of disgusting fumes in there.  Georgia's cousins just love her and are always in her face entertaining her.

Going to Idaho and Bear Lake- One of the big things we miss while living in NC is going to Idaho and Bear Lake.  We have gotten a chance to go a couple of times with the Woodsies and Nick's parents.  Hopefully we get one more trip over the 24th before we head back.  It is always so relaxing and fun to be up there.  Time just stands still.  We got to see Heather and Jake and Claire when we went to church up there last time too. That was a fun surprise. :)

Beef Jerky is perfect for teething babies. :)

4th of July and Eaglewood Fireworks--I love the 4th of July with family.  We always go to the Kaysville Parade and then Taco Time (yay--Taco Time float).  We usually do the Eaglewood Fireworks the night before.  There were too many people we wanted to sit by. :)

I have the best sister in laws!

Boating with the Alexanders--yeah this was an adventure--we almost died.  We were at Willard Bay and the calm water instantly turned into an ocean storm hurricane seriously.  Nick was in the water surfing behind the boat and in 2 seconds he was like a football field away.  It was so windy and crazy.  We had to stay calm for all the kids but inside I was freaking out. haha. :) Georgia loved the boat though.  She just belly laughed while the boat was going.  And don't worry I haven't lost my touch wake boarding...but still I get nervous doing anything daring so I just play it safe. :)

Visit with my dad

My Birthday (of course--always a highlight)

Sorry about all the pics of Georgia but SHE IS the center of our world right now and I am so proud of her and the amazing little girl she is!  I can already tell she just loves life and is a very happy soul!  Until next time...hopefully it won't be so long of a post!
