Boston Tea Party 2010

SO....Looks like we have just gone on our last BIG vacation for the year. Time to settle down I guess. :) But we have really been having so much fun this summer! We just got back from Boston this week. It was so much fun to take Nick there and show him some of my favorite things to do there! Here are some pics!

Abby and Adam made us the most delicious dinner. It was so fun to see Abby (my old roomie)! She is darling!
Aren't they a cute couple??
Oh how I miss this river!!
The freedom trail in 95 degree weather and 100% humidity!!

Thanks to our good friends (Lorna and Chris) we ate some really high calorie, but delicious hot pastrami sandwiches.

The swan boats--that was a favorite!

The public garden is beautiful!! If I was homeless I would camp out here.

The Old North Church

These little italian boys in Little Italy got a hold of their dad's shaving cream and were getting it all over. It was really funny to hear a lot of Italiana yelling and seeing those boys get in trouble. :)
Best Canolis ever. :)

My old house (my room was on top). They have actually improved the areas around the house. It was fun to take Nick here.
This is how we felt walking around in the heat. No words can describe it...Nick's face below says it all.
Mount Auburn Cemetary! Nick even said this was one of his favorite things we did!
This was so cool- I have never been here before. But the Adams family is buried in the crypt of the church next door to the visitor center in Quincy. It was so cool! I just love John Adams....probably one of my favorite presidents (if not my favorite). I definitely know more about history now because of Nick.
John Quincy Adams library...amazing. Wish we could take pictures inside but we weren't allowed.

Go Sox!! It rained and they had a rain delay for an hour but then some people left so we got to sit closer and that was way fun!

So we went up to Maine for two days and went camping! It was seriously way fun! We bought a queen size air mattress and inflated it with our own lungs. It was a pain but TOTALLY worth it. I probably slept better camping then in the hotel. (and Marci...we didn't have to set up camp in the Peterson's backyard.) :)

Another highlight=eating lobster close to a lighthouse in Maine. Amazin!

Campsite #2
What about Bob?

Our last stop= Concord---oh I forgot how much I love this place! Every where you turned it was so pretty we took so many pictures but the mental pictures are the best.
Old North Bridge.

Well...our trip was great! We want to go camping in Maine like every other year now. So...if anybody wants to join us let me know. :)
