OVERALL UPDATE:
We got Lagoon passes and started going there about once a week. I can only handle like an hour and a half there and then I am done. I don't know how I used to spend hours there when I was in Junior High. But Georgia loves it and it wears her out so she gets a nice nap in the afternoon.
Nick and I ran the Bear Lake half marathon. (We have been up to Bear Lake 3 times in two months--we need to come back to reality and start being responsible). Anyway...this was my third half marathon and it was the first one where I felt prepared and felt pretty good the whole time. It was Nick's first and he did awesome. It was so nice to run it with him because when I wanted to stop, he wouldn't let me. Stopping made it harder for me to go because my legs would lock up. Whitley ran it with us too and she was my training motivation! She did awesome especially after just having a baby. Nick and I finished slower than my past half marathons but I didn't care. I just cared about finishing. It was FREEZING THOUGH! I think that was the hardest part--was my blood was frozen I swear! It made my legs feel like they were elephant legs.
We went camping with the Bryner Family and all four of us Harts slept in a two man tent. It was actually way fun and not as bad as I thought it would be. I loved snuggling with Lucy the whole night--I never get to do that. :)
We had a really fun fourth of July with lots of festivities and fireworks. I got to see the Sloans and Chelsea Beauchamp too which was a fun surprise for me! Nick did awesome and gave me the best birthday present ever!! He really outdid himself this time.
The family photos on the bottom are courtesy of my BFF Rachael! She is amazing!
FUNNY STORY:
So a funny story I want to remember is when I opened the garage and Georgia ran out at the same time. She grabbed onto the bottom of the garage and it started pulling her up. I had my hands full of stuff to throw in the recycle bin but I threw it down everywhere and tried to run catch her. Well...it was too late. The garage made it almost to the top before she let go. She landed on her feet but then slammed her hands down on the ground. After about 10 minutes of crying, she was fine and then I could laugh telling Nick and he just laughed at the visual of the garage door taking Georgia up to the ceiling. oh my. And I wonder why I am so exhausted!
LUCY:
Lucy is talking and walking: She is taking at most 6 steps at a time. She is 11 months and says: bubble, pop, tree, ba-ba-ba (for bubble bath), uh-oh, go, baby, nana (for banana), Georgia, baa (for what the sheep says), binkie, cookie, cock oo doo (for cock-a-doodle doo), cow, bye bye, doggie, teeth, out... She sticks her tongue out when you ask her where it is. She also touches her hair when you ask where it is. I just got a delivery of diapers and wipes and stacked them on top of each other and she climbed to the top while I wasn't looking. She has no fear and eats everything especially sand and sea shells.
GEORGIA:
Georgia fell asleep looking at our family picture.
You can't tell but there are 4 kids in this hammock--Bear Lake.
I'm excited about our wall stencil I did. Here is a view of it with the hutch we painted.
Eaglewood Fireworks
Georgia bit open her glow stick and it got all in her mouth and on her hands and clothes. She was so overtired from waiting for the fireworks to start (it was like 11 before they started) so this captures her mood perfectly.)
Kaysville Parade---annual tradition
Still got my stilt skills--don't worry!

GEORGIA:
Georgia: Some funny phrases she is into:
"Come in my room... it's really beautiful in there"
"Come in my room... it's really beautiful in there"
"That's not funny...it's hilarious" or "that's not hilarious..it's just funny".
"I think this outfit looks really cute on me."
She
has a song she made up called I don't care. And it goes to the tune
"London bridge". It goes something like "I'm eating food and I don't
care... I don't care I don't care. My food is gone and I don't care doo
doo do do do too too. Or I'm riding in the car and I don't care... "
Antelope Island
We got to see Chels and the kids! It made my week! And the Sloans!
