Georgia's Little Baby...ummm--not so little anymore. Looks like baby sis will come in perfect time.

April's little girl is our favorite. We got to go to Kneaders and celebrate April's birthday for breakfast. She is so sweet and Georgia loves her. I am so lucky to have April in my life--she is one of those friends I wish lived next door-I never see her enough. But--she is definitely one of the most amazing people I know. I am one lucky girl to have her in my life.

I found these selfie gems on my phone.

We went camping with Ben and Mikkal's family.  It was actually really fun. I was telling my doctor how we went camping and he's like, "YOU went camping?...and you are 9 months pregnant? I didn't even think about that being a big deal--but I guess that is pretty brave? I am very irrational when I am pregnant and it was my idea to go so I guess that makes sense.

We go over to dinner to Nick's parents on Sundays. Leah (their older cousin) loves playing with the girls. Here they are all holding onto a stick just following her wherever she goes. I would pay Leah to do this, but she just does it because it's fun. It's a nice break for me though.

On their way to swim lessons. Georgia did great. Lucy just screamed the entire time. She would hold onto the instructor so hard and just suck on his neck while she did kicks around the pool. Maybe next year will be better.

Little picnic lunch with friends in our backyard

My dad came to visit and even though we got to see him for just a few hours, we had fun. We went on a walk on the Lagoon trail--(it's shaded) and played corn hole and had BBQ.

After swim lessons, the snow cone place was CLOSED--major bummer. But we got Frazils in these refillable cups. Don't put them in the dishwasher though. Now Lucy's cup is half the height it should be. haha. Probably for the better with all that sugar.

The only way to survive pregnant is go swimming daily/splash pad/sprinkler/etc.

I learned after the first week of swim lessons that I would just put Lucy on the steps of the pool with her life jacket while Georgia had her private lesson. Brilliant. She thinks she is still in swimming lessons (so she isn't left out) and then she is having fun and getting acclimated to the idea of swimming. And it's FREE!

While everybody was taking a nap at Bear Lake, Georgia and I went to get some french fries and ice-cream. She really wanted her picture in all of these.

The Beach! Love Bear Lake Beach the best even though it was SOOO crowded over the 4th of July Weekend.

We had a great 4th of July weekend. Since Nick has every other Friday off work, we went to Idaho. We went to Bloomington Lake up there and had a picnic after the (what should be short hike), then to Pickleville Playhouse, and then Bear Lake the next day. We came back Saturday night and were able to go to the parade on Monday and Fireworks that night. It was a blast! But--by Monday night we just crashed in bed we were so tired!!

This was the best float and then the girls got to get a picture before the fireworks.

Right before the fireworks started, Nick took Georgia for a walk and they spontaneously got her face painted. She kept saying, "Mommy is going to freak out!" In the light of the fireworks Lucy just stared at Georgia almost the entire time and kept saying, "Georgia---that looks so gorgeous..."

If you know me, you know I love snow cones. Have had about 3 snow cones a week this summer. It is so hot and it doesn't help that I'm pregnant.

I'll have to say since we get snow cones at least 3 times a week here, they have learned to be a lot cleaner eating these--this was when they were pretty sticky and messy.

Campout story time in the living room. THE three most important people in my life.

We  went to the Honeyland shop in Logan and it was pretty awesome. We learned how honey was made and saw real bees making it. And bought some flavored honeys to go..

Some more pics of our camping trip!

Road Trips and Summer Bucket List

Summer has officially begun! I am so excited for this summer... mostly because I feel like the girls are at a relatively easy age for summer to be fun with little help from me. Last summer was fun, but still felt overwhelming because Lucy was kind of at a hard age. But--she is almost 3 and Georgia is almost 5 and they just play with each other all day long. We get together with friends and cousins a lot, but I feel really grateful that they have each other no matter what.  And I think since Georgia and Lucy were so close together it feels like I haven't had a relaxing summer for the past 5 years.

But--I'll be honest---being pregnant in the summer is kind of miserable. I have been feeling fine but I am SO FREAKING HOT! ALL. the. time!  I am documenting this because I don't want to forget this and assume "It wasn't that bad.." Because it is. It is not fun! Thinking about getting kids in and out of car seats just sounds exhausting. I did got a couple of clothes items that have been a lifesaver--and now that my allergies are under control with Flonase, I feel like my quality of life has improved.  I'm trying to soak up this summer being relatively easy because I know next summer we will be having a new little baby eating grass, rocks, and dirt...

I really feel grateful for this baby on the way.  I realize what a miracle it is to have a baby and love that feeling of her kicking around and moving . I am really excited to meet her and see what she's like. I feel like we are more ready for this baby than we were with Lucy (surprise baby). :)

My little garden helpers!

I let them watch cartoons once/day for about 30-45 minutes. If they could choose cartoons or ice-cream, they would choose cartoons. It is their favorite thing in the world. Poor deprived children. I tell them that if they watch too much that their brains would turn into bananas. Lucy usually just reaches for her head and says, "yum...I love bananas."

We had the girl's Spring Dance Recital. I was the proudest momma in the world. Lucy just marched to the beat of her own drum--no surprise. She had some spazz moments on stage in her tap shoes and just chose whatever spot she wanted on the stage to dance. Her dance teacher did admit she was very stubborn, but then said that being stubborn is a good thing because she won't be easily persuaded by peer pressure. Nick says she gets her stubbornness from me. Yeah---he's right. I don't do anything I don't want to do--it's a problem.

Georgia seriously did such a good job. She knew all of the dance moves and wasn't nervous at all. She got on stage and waved to Lucy and loved the limelight--it kind of surprised me how comfortable she was.

It was funny because I was tearing up for different reasons. For Lucy--I was crying because I was laughing so hard. For Georgia--I was crying because I was so proud of her. She has so much courage.

We had preschool graduation with the co-op in the neighborhood. It was a wild year and I don't know if I would do a co-op again. It was better toward the end, but 8 kids was WAY too many! Georgia loved it but I think she is excited to go to a "real" and "official" preschool next year.

Not the best picture but had to document the most amazing rainbow I have ever seen. We could see both sides and it was amazing in Logan. I love driving through Logan every time we go to Bear Lake. It is just a major bonus.

We did these bikes again and loved it. Last time we did this, I was pregnant with Lucy and Georgia was in the front by herself. Now--I am pregnant with this baby girl and we have 2 big girls in the front. We also ran into the Harman's and it made my day! I love that family.

The highlight of the trip! Georgia caught her first fish! She was so excited and Nick was SOOOO proud!

Picture of the year!

Lucy pretending she is a baby in Idaho--they need a real baby to take care of--I think Lucy is getting a little too big!

We had to document Nick's first settlement check for his PI case. It was a big deal and a lot of work---and I am so proud of him!

Idaho swing with cousins!

Our new yellow chairs in our living room--I love them!
We have a summer bucket list and I am so excited about it. Life is good and I want to live every day to the fullest. I don't care if my kids are too young or won't remember the things we do, but I will remember it and love seeing the joy in their lives when we do fun things together. Not--like we need to always keep them occupied--but you know what I mean. I just want to remember that it isn't just my day but it is their day too.
